On August 31 at 7:00pm Femminary will present at Amistad Chapel a special service designed by Blyth Barnow, focusing on overdose prevention, particularly overdose reversal, through a Christian lens. The service is both a healing balm and a call to action.
During the service, Blyth will share more about Naloxone (also called Narcan), the medication that can reverse an opiate overdose. Through preaching, music, and ritual the service will illuminate overdose reversal as a practice of real life resurrection in which Christians are called to participate. All people, including those who use drugs, are beloved by God. All lives are worth saving.
